IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN UNPAINTED, UNASSEMBLED RAW RESIN KIT. IT IS NOT A FINISHED FIGURE.

The pictures are the sculptor's digital renders of the painted design. Your kit arrives as 16 separate pieces of plain, single-color resin. It is:

  • Unassembled: you glue the pieces together yourself.
  • Unprimed: it needs primer before paint.
  • Unsanded: seams and surfaces need sanding.
  • Unpainted: all painting is up to you.

Expect supports and support marks. Some parts may ship with supports still attached to make sure they do not get damaged during shipping. You may need to sand parts to fully remove supports or fill marks where supports attached. You will need to prime with an appropriate primer.

This kit is for people who want the full experience of finishing a 3D printed kit without owning a printer. It’s also a good way to find out whether the hobby is for you, and what finishing a printed model really takes, before you buy a printer of your own.

A fan-art diorama of the famous yellow electric mouse and three classic starter creatures from a world-famous monster-collecting game series, riding a runaway mine cart through a cave. The mouse sits in the cart with both paws on the front lip and its mouth wide open, its zigzag tail sticking up behind. The orange fire lizard hangs off one side in a yellow hard hat, grinning, with a pickaxe swung over its shoulder and its tail flame rising above the cart. The blue turtle sits on the back of the cart with its arms crossed behind black sunglasses, looking unbothered. Above them the teal seed creature with a green bulb on its back flies through the air, mouth open, held up by two vines that reach down to the track. Two little brown moles poke up out of the ground on the slope below, and sparks fly off the cart's wheels. The base is a brown rock hill with a curving wooden track, tall ridged stalagmites, a fossil shell and clusters of pink, blue and cyan crystals, with small faceted gems set into the rock. This listing is the full 1:10 scale diorama; the miniature is sold as a separate listing.

What's in the kit

  • 16 resin pieces in total.
  • Figures, 7 pieces: the electric mouse, the fire lizard's body and its arm with the pickaxe, the turtle, the seed creature and the two moles.
  • Vines, 2 pieces: the two vines that hold the seed creature up.
  • Scene, 7 pieces: the mine cart, and the rock base with the track in six sections.
  • 1:10 scale: 222 mm (8.74 in) tall, 109 × 178 mm (4.29 × 7.01 in) footprint (from the studio's scale sheet).
  • Scale: 1:10 (from the studio). Scale isn't standardized, so figures of the same scale from different creators may not match exactly.

About the sizes: every measurement above comes from the sculptor's own files or the studio's published size information for the unprinted model. Your printed kit can differ slightly: resin shrinks a little as it cures, removing supports and sanding takes off some material, and the assembled height depends on how the parts are fitted. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not an exact guarantee.

Skill level: intermediate

  • The seed creature hangs in the air on its two thin vines. Build the base first, pin both vines into the base, then fit the creature onto the vines, dry-fitting before anything cures.
  • On the 1:10 scale the rock base comes in six sections and the rails cross the cuts. Line the rails up carefully; expect to fill and smooth at least one rail joint.
  • The cart rests on the rails at the crest of the track and carries three figures. The fire lizard holds on by one arm, so glue and pin it to the cart's side.
  • Thin parts: both vines, the pickaxe handle, the tail flame, the wheel sparks and the mouse's ears.

You'll need (not included): sandpaper or sanding sticks, flush cutters, CA glue or epoxy, primer, paints, and brass rod if you pin the joints.
